These certificates are issued by a government agency in the countries of origin to certify that the wood has been gathered correctly and with government approval. Some of our rare and exotic woods have this certificate. If you are looking for timber that has been gathered in conformity with the CITES convention, ask our sales manager.
Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®)
The FSC®is an international network for the promotion of management of the world’s forests that is appropriate and socially and economically useful. One of the main purposes of the association is to find solutions for the improvement of the forestry practices and to reward the correct management of forests. Its label enables consumers to recognize the products that assist the growth of responsible management of forests all over the world.
