Due to their characteristic irregularity and the presence of holes, olive trunks are generally hard to work and the veneer that is obtained is usually too short and narrow. Nevertheless, what you see in the images is a beautiful branch from which perfectly healthy sheets up to 3 metres in length are obtained.
